Sarah’s father, Joe, was a butcher in Terenure. So theirs was a house of food and everyone was required to be involved in the preparation and cooking of family meals. Sarah is proud to have continued the tradition of great food with the opening of the first Kennedys café in Fairview in 2007.  Further openings followed in Raheny, Clontarf, Phibsborough & Grangegorman. Kennedys is recognised as one of the leading coffee & food spaces in the country, receiving the McKenna Guide “Best in Ireland” Award each year since opening in 2007.  Kennedys has also received extensive media coverage including The Sunday Times, The Sunday Business Post, The Irish Times & RTÉ.
